Wishes For Waters 1st Birthday

This past week, the Wishes For Water Foundation met to celebrate a huge milestone as the foundation officially turned one year old. In that time, we have managed to raise around $49,000 and officially drill our first borehole. None of this would’ve been possible without all of the support we have behind us!

None of this would’ve been possible without our founder, Lily Chavez! Thank you for believing in the mission and continuing to guide our team. We can’t wait to continue our mission for years to come.

Meet The Directors!

Liam Wisner (Director of Finance)

I'm Liam Wisner, an undergraduate accounting major currently serving as a Director of Finance within Wishes For Water. As an accounting student at Oklahoma State University, I leverage the concepts I'm learning in class and the Spears School of Business resources to compile financial information and create an accounting system for our organization.

What fuels my dedication to Wishes For Water is our work's profound impact on gender equity, particularly through the installation of boreholes around schools in rural Zimbabwe. As a college student who struggles to contribute money to our cause, volunteering my time allows me to make a tangible contribution toward a passionate cause.

I'm so grateful to be a part of an amazing team and for our generous donors.
